Yup, today we're officially 'empty nesters' as we spent the day moving our daughter to her new home in Redford.A few years ago I wondered if it would ever be possible for her to purchase a home on her own, but the HUD home she bought recently has cheaper payments than if she had rented an apartment.
No dogs in the mudroom, parking in the garage again, and using the basement for storage... life is good!
